When clients call or visit Slaughter & Lupton Law, Sarah is one of the dedicated professionals working behind the scenes to keep every case moving forward. Since joining the firm in 2021, she has played a vital role in coordinating operations, supporting attorneys, and helping ensure each client receives the attention and communication they deserve.

Sarah brings more than a decade of legal experience to the firm, having worked as both a litigation paralegal and legal assistant since 2014. Her background gives her a unique understanding of the personal injury process – from managing case details and deadlines to helping attorneys prepare for litigation. Her organization, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to efficiency help keep the firm operating smoothly so the legal team can focus on achieving the best possible outcome for every client.

She earned both her Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies and her Paralegal Certificate from Tidewater Community College.

A lifelong Hampton Roads native, Sarah now calls Chesapeake home. She enjoys gardening, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her husband and daughter. Her dedication to both her family and work reflects the same care and reliability she brings to the Slaughter & Lupton Law team every day.

As Client Case Manager, Alicia helps ensure your case is matched to the legal team that can best support your unique needs. Her leadership, organization, and care help create an exceptional experience from a client’s first call through the resolution of their case.

Alicia brings over 20 years of experience in personal injury law with familiarity in family law, estate planning, and criminal law. Growing her knowledge and experience since 1994, Alicia leads a team of paralegals and legal assistants to assist your attorney in your case.

When she’s out of the office, Alicia enjoys spending quality time with her family. She passionately helps in protecting our oceans by volunteering with the Network for Endangered Sea Turtles (NEST) in Outer Banks, NC.

Tori brings a combination of litigation knowledge, organization, and genuine compassion to her work as a Paralegal at Slaughter & Lupton Law. She began her legal career in 2018 and earned her Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies with a focus in Litigation from Tidewater Community College in 2020.

Working closely with attorneys and clients, Tori helps keep personal injury cases organized and moving forward through each stage of the legal process. She understands that an injury can disrupt every part of a person’s life, and she takes pride in helping clients feel informed, supported, and confident about what comes next.

Tori’s litigation training and experience allow her to assist with the many details involved in building a personal injury case. From organizing important case information to communicating with clients and supporting attorneys throughout litigation, she brings a thoughtful and thorough approach to her work. Her goal is to make sure important details don’t get overlooked and that clients have a legal team they can rely on throughout their case.

Outside the office, Tori enjoys reading, spending time with her husband and son, and listening to true crime podcasts. She’s a fan of The Office, The Paper, and Parks and Recreation, and she enjoys exploring museums and learning about history and art. Whether she’s discovering something new at a museum or relaxing with a favorite show, Tori brings the same curiosity and enthusiasm to life outside the office that she brings to her work.

With her Associate’s degree in Nursing and Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Klaudine combines her passions to bring our 5-star legal team straight to you.

She plays a pivotal role in elevating our law firm’s digital and community presence, ensuring we connect with those who need it. Klaudine is your go-to resource for all of Slaughter & Lupton Law’s marketing answers.

Out of the office, she enjoys traveling, discovering new music, and creating digital content.

Alyssa brings a thoughtful, client-focused approach to her work as a litigation paralegal at Slaughter & Lupton Law. She began her legal career in 2024 and has already gained experience across several areas of law, including personal injury, Title IX matters, estate planning, and criminal cases. Her broad legal background has given her an appreciation for the importance of organization, communication, and careful attention to each client’s individual circumstances.

Alyssa’s passion for justice is at the heart of her career. She earned her degree in Paralegal Studies and is continuing to build on her legal education, with plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies. Her commitment to learning allows her to bring fresh perspective and an eagerness to grow to her work with clients and the legal team.

Alyssa’s superpower is keeping her clients top-of-mind. She understands that every personal injury case involves countless details, deadlines, appointments, and follow-ups—and that staying organized is essential to keeping a case moving forward. She works closely with attorneys and clients to maintain organized case files, track important dates and events, and follow up on the details that help the legal team thoroughly prepare each case.

For Alyssa, good client service means remembering that there is a person behind every case. She strives to make clients feel heard, informed, and supported while providing attorneys with the organized information they need to effectively advocate on their behalf.

Outside the office, Alyssa enjoys making the most of her “5 to 9” hours. She loves going on walks, cooking with her husband, and listening to the latest true crime and dark history podcasts.

As Accounts Analyst at Slaughter & Lupton Law, Nenie plays an important behind-the-scenes role in keeping the financial side of each case organized, accurate, and moving efficiently. Her careful attention to detail helps support a smooth process for clients as their cases progress toward resolution.

Nenie manages many of the financial details associated with personal injury cases, including settlement disbursements, case expenses, account reconciliation, and financial recordkeeping. She also works with trust and operating accounts and helps ensure that financial processes are handled accurately and in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Before joining Slaughter & Lupton Law, Nenie built years of experience in accounts, project management, and office management. Her background has given her a strong understanding of how organization, consistency, and accuracy work together to keep complex operations running smoothly.

For Nenie, even the smallest financial details matter. Her methodical approach helps the firm maintain accurate records, safeguard client funds, and keep the financial aspects of a case moving efficiently. While much of her work happens behind the scenes, it is an important part of providing clients with a well-organized experience from the resolution of their case through final disbursement.

Outside the office, Nenie enjoys spending time with her family and staying active. She values making time for the people she cares about and maintaining an active lifestyle outside of work.

As Client Onboarding Specialist, Millie sets your case up for success from the very beginning. She understands that reaching out to a law firm after an accident or injury can feel overwhelming, which is why she approaches every new client with patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to help.

Millie guides clients through the initial onboarding process, gathering the important information the legal team needs to understand their circumstances and begin building their case. Her attention to detail helps ensure that important facts, documents, and deadlines are identified early, while her clear and caring communication helps clients feel informed and supported from their first interactions with the firm.

For Millie, onboarding is about more than collecting information. It’s about making a person feel heard. She takes the time to listen to each client’s story and help them understand what to expect as their case gets underway. Her compassion for helping others is at the heart of the work she does every day.

Outside of her work at Slaughter & Lupton Law, Millie enjoys going to church and spending time with her family. She loves music and watching TV, especially gospel music and true crime shows. She brings the same warmth and thoughtfulness to her life outside the office that she brings to every client interaction.

Torie brings a strong background in organization, project management, and process improvement to her role as a Legal Assistant at Slaughter & Lupton Law. With experience managing projects in an accounting firm, she understands the importance of accuracy, consistency, and keeping complex processes moving forward—skills she now applies to supporting attorneys, paralegals, and clients throughout the personal injury process.

Torie works closely with the legal team to help keep case information organized, deadlines on track, and important details moving efficiently between clients, attorneys, and paralegals. Her analytical mindset and attention to detail are especially valuable when managing the many moving pieces of a personal injury case.

Before joining Slaughter & Lupton Law, Torie worked as a project manager in an accounting environment, where she focused on improving operational consistency and efficiency. That experience gives her a unique perspective in the legal setting: she is always looking for ways to make processes more organized, dependable, and effective for both the legal team and the clients they serve.

Torie is also trained in legal case management technology and understands the importance of clear communication throughout a client’s case. She believes that behind every well-managed case is a team paying attention to the details and making sure clients know what to expect along the way.

Outside the office, Torie enjoys spending time with her family, going on adventures with her dog, Delilah, and trying new restaurants with her husband. She also enjoys playing video games and building LEGO sets—activities that reflect the same creativity, patience, and attention to detail she brings to her work.

Carolyn brings more than 30 years of administrative experience to her role as a Legal Assistant at Slaughter & Lupton Law. Her organization, attention to detail, and commitment to helping others play an important role in keeping cases moving efficiently and giving attorneys and paralegals the support they need to serve our clients.

As a member of the legal team, Carolyn assists attorneys and paralegals with the administrative and organizational details that keep each case on track. She is trained in legal case management technology and client communication, helping ensure that important information is organized, accessible, and communicated throughout the legal process.

Carolyn earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Office-Systems Technology. Her decades of administrative experience, combined with her knowledge of today’s case management technology, allow her to bring both experience and efficiency to her work.

For Carolyn, being part of a client’s legal team means more than keeping paperwork organized. She understands that personal injury cases can be stressful and that clear communication and dependable support can make the process easier for clients and their families.

Outside the office, Carolyn serves as secretary on the board of her homeowners association. She enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and sharing life with her two poodle-mix pups.

George helps keep Slaughter & Lupton Law running efficiently by ensuring the firm’s technology is secure, reliable, and available when our attorneys and staff need it most. He works behind the scenes to maintain computer systems and networks, troubleshoot technical issues, and support cybersecurity efforts to keep daily operations moving without interruption.

With several years of experience supporting technology across military, consumer electronics repair, and professional services environments, and holding a Master’s degree in Cloud Computing Systems, George is leveling up his skill set by preparing to earn his CompTIA Security+ certification. When he’s not in office, he’s studying for his certification, spending time with his family, or making plans to go fishing!
