Sarah Stanley
Practice Manager & Paralegal
Sarah has been with our firm since 2021. She has experience in the legal field as a litigation paralegal and legal assistant since 2014. Sarah received an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies degree and a Paralegal Certificate from Tidewater Community College. Sarah was born and raised in Hampton Roads and has found her home in Chesapeake, Virginia. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in her garden and doing anything outdoors with her husband and daughter.
Julia Hessenauer
Paralegal
Meet Julia, a dedicated paralegal bringing invaluable experience to our team. She has extensive knowledge in various legal departments since 2017, including intake, investigation, pre-litigation, General District Courts, and Circuit Courts. Her passion for kayaking and involvement in animal rescue and environmental volunteering showcase her compassionate nature beyond legal matters. Alicia Midey
Paralegal
Alicia assists our criminal attorneys with their criminal, traffic, military, and agricultural cases. She has an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Paralegal Studies and a Litigation Specialist Certificate from Tidewater Community College. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family.
Taina Ramirez
Paralegal & Interpreter
Taina Ramirez has experience in the legal field since 2005 -- functioning as a legal assistant, pre-litigation paralegal, and litigation paralegal. She has a B.S degree from Pennsylvania State University in Criminal Justice with a minor in Business Administration. She also attended law school at the Southern New England School of Law in 2003–2004. She has worked a majority of her career helping injured clients in Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and North Carolina. Taina is originally from Puerto Rico and has resided in Virginia since 1991. Taina is bilingual in English and Spanish. She plays the saxophone and enjoys jazz, blues, and classical music.
Naomi Spence
Paralegal
Naomi assists our attorneys as a pre-litigation paralegal. Upon completion of her bachelor’s degree at Regent University, she has experience in the legal field as a legal assistant and medical records paralegal. Her 9-5 is focused on you and your case. Her 5-9 activities include baking bread and staying active with her dog.
Kei'moni Williams
Legal Assistant & Intake Coordinator
Kei’moni is your first point of contact when getting the help you need with a case. Originally from New York, she has found a home in Norfolk. Having graduated from Centura College, she received her certifications as a medical assistant -- giving you a unique perspective when dealing with your case. In her free time, she enjoys outings with her father and watching criminal justice television shows.
Jarell Johnson
Paralegal
With 15+ years in the legal field, Jarell has extensive experience in personal injury, traffic, criminal, family, estate planning, landlord-tenant, business, and bankruptcy law. He currently holds an associate degree in liberal arts and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Christopher Newport University. Outside of work, Jarell prioritizes family time, coaching his five sons in basketball, and enjoying NBA games together. He’s an avid reader, favoring authors like Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and John Grisham, and loves fantasy, sci-fi, and thriller TV shows and movies.
